Check out our antique maps exhibit

The new exhibit in the Library Lobby is a sampling of antique maps from the George T. Abell Collection. Mr Abell lived in Midland, Texas. He was interested in travel, geography, the geology of the petroleum industry, and the history of the Southwest. The collection came to TCU in 1984 as a gift from his estate. There are 108 maps in the collection. Visit Special Collections if you’d like to see more!
