Texas Legation Records Exhibit

TCU holds the correspondence of the Texas Legation, the embassy in Washington DC before Texas was a state. The exhibit shows what some of the 172-year-old letters look like. Their contents, according to history Professor Gregg Cantrell, cover money, annexation, personal matters and inquiries into land and employment opportunities in Texas.

TCU Athletics Publications

In 2008, Athletic Media Relations transferred programs for football and men’s basketball games of 1930-1997 from the Athletics Department to Special Collections.
The current exhibit in the Library lobby has reproductions of some of the football program covers.
