• Go to the TCU database, Factiva   (note: this database only allows 5 users at a time, so if a nonTCU password screen pops up, that means that 5 people are currently using the database, and you’ll have to try later- wait 10-15 minutes) (I’m taking a breath now!)
• Note: You may just want to double click the image below vs. reading all this verbage!
• Type your search in the search box
• Make sure the date range works for your needs
• Click the “Source” plus sign
• Click on the “Group: WSJ Publications” link (this should make it show up in pink above the Source search box)
• Click “Run Search”
• DONE!

If you want to read some of the articles about the survey, go to the TCU database, Factiva and complete the following steps (or take a look at the screen shot below):

1. Expand the ‘Source’ box by clicking on the + sign.  Click on ‘Group: WSJ Publications’ so that it appears as a pink link at the top of the source box.

2. In the drop down box next to ‘Date’, choose ‘enter date range’ and then enter 04/14/2008 in both boxes.

3.  In the free text box type “ceo compensation survey” (hint: be sure to use the quotation marks)

This should pull up approximately 8 articles to read. (double click on the image to enlarge it.)
